What we store

• Your account details: email address and display name.
• The Recipe Books you belong to and your role in each.
• The recipes, photographs, scans, notes and memories your family adds.
• Basic technical records needed to keep the service running securely.

Who can see your recipes

Only the members of a Recipe Book. A Recipe Book is private by default and recipes are never made public automatically. We do not sell your data and we do not use your family recipes for advertising.

Photographs and scans

Images you upload — including scans of handwritten or printed pages — are stored privately and are only available to members of that Recipe Book.

Recipe capture

When you ask us to read a recipe from a photo, pasted text or a link, that content is sent to an AI processing service to extract the recipe, and the result is shown to you for checking. It is not used to train public models.

Your rights

• Export your account data and your family archive at any time.
• Correct or delete your recipes and memories.
• Delete your account, subject to transferring ownership of any Recipe Book you own.
